Technical Tester

SUMMARY:
Seeking a dynamic and competent Technical Tester, within the Financial Services industry.

POSITION INFO:

Qualifications:

• Diploma Tertiary Qualifications in information technology
• ISTQB Foundation Level Certificate or related
• 4-5 years in Technical/Functional Testing experience
• 2-3 years Automated testing experience 
• API Testing experience(RESTful, SOAPUI and Postman)

Skills:

• automation frameworks and SDLC.
• Flexibility on waterfall and agile methodologies.
• Proficient using Selenium, or Apache Java Groovy.
• Jira, Azure DevOps 
• Experience working within the financial services industry

Job description:

• Accepts responsibility for creation of test cases using own comprehensive technical analysis of both functional and non-functional specifications.
• Creates traceability records, from test cases back to requirements.
• Provides reports on progress, anomalies, risks, and issues associated with the overall project.
• Reports on system quality and collects metrics on test cases.
• Identify, document, and assist in mitigation of defects.
• Intermediate SQL skills.
• Integration testing.
• Test automation.
