Technical Specialist (Millwright)

POSITION INFO:

Global Automotive company requires the technical skills of a trade tested, experienced Technical Specialist (Millwright) with 6 years experience within the automotive industry. You will be responsible for plant maintenance and breakdowns (mechanical and electrical) on a shift basis). 

Responsibilities: 

• Investigate and solve maintenance issues and provide solutions
• Provides support in troubleshooting equipment to ensure effective and efficient operations
• Repairs equipment as necessary
• Perform all requested tasks professionally and in a reasonable time frame
• Communicate status of all maintenance activities and projects with management
• Interpret work orders, job plans, drawings, technical specification and equipment/manufacturer manuals
• Complete all housekeeping assignments

Requirements: 

• Grade 12
• Millwright / Electrician trade test
• 6 years automotive / manufacturing experience
• 5-10 years experience within a similar role 
• Pneumatic, hydraulic, gearbox drives and PLC experience
• Proven skills at cultivating strong working relationships and working well within a team to learn and share knowledge
