SUMMARY:
Our client is looking to fill a position for a Technical Sales Representative to develop our client’s Africa footprint. The successful candidate will achieve this through expanding the current markets in DRC, Botswana, Mozambique (also includes some Indian Ocean Islands that RSA has responsibility for).

POSITION INFO:

Technical Sales Representative (Africa Export Sales)

Our client is looking to fill a position for a Technical Sales Representative to develop our client’s Africa footprint. The successful candidate will achieve this through expanding the current markets in DRC, Botswana, Mozambique (also includes some Indian Ocean Islands that RSA has responsibility for) and developing new opportunities within identified regions. Some of the key performance areas include:

  • Grow and maintain commercial export sales
  • Formulating and negotiating supply agreements and tenders
  • Co-ordinating the activities from order placement to final delivery
  • Technical support & product development
  • Travel planning into specified regions
  • Business planning

 

JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • Relevant commercial qualification
  • Minimum of 2 years Africa export sales experience
  • Travel requirement up to 30% into Africa
  • Work independently and remotely when travelling into Africa
  • Experience in the mining industry advantageous
  • Knowledge of export documentation and process
