Technical Sales Representative

SUMMARY:

A top-quality European machine tool accessories company seeks a young, dynamic, and driven Technical Sales Representative to be based in Edenvale. This individual must ideally have technical knowledge of CNC, lathe tool holders, and tools or at least have a technical understanding of similar machines or parts.  Must be a confident HUNTER with above-average communication and relationship-building skills. Own a reliable and presentable vehicle.  

POSITION INFO:

Minimum requirements:

• 2 - 3 Years’ experience in sales of technical components, ideally for a CNC, lathe tool holders and tools or any other parts or accessories for machinery.
• Senior certificate (Grade 12).
• Valid driver’s license with own reliable and presentable vehicle.
• Computer literate, able to operate MS office products.
• Have knowledge of Google Business suite and marketing platforms i.e., social media.
• Understands the latest marketing methods, trends, and systems.

• Lead and Sales Generation to reach the company’s turnover and profit targets.
• Customer Care.
• Follow existing company procedures and workflows.
• Maximizing and driving sales by exemplary leadership.
• Promote a positive image of the company through high-quality customer service.
• Product Knowledge and Self Development in the latest industry trends.
• Continuous Personal Improvement.
• Improving overall product knowledge.
• Assist the front desk when needed, answer calls, and provide technical assistance to clients when required.
• Work with management to build the company and realise the company’s vision.
• Identify opportunities that align with the company’s values and market niche.
• Assist with the marketing efforts of the company, liaising with the company’s marketing agencies to promote the company’s quality products and world-class service.
• Process orders and follow through to completion.
• Research existing clients and prospects and keep the company’s database up to date.
