SUMMARY:
Our client, a leading manufacturer, converter and supplier of cellular foam, rubber and plastic film products has a vacancy for an experience Salesperson. A relevant tertiary qualification, at least one year industry experience and product knowledge is essential. Excellent benefits.

POSITION INFO:

Requirements:

Grade 12 or equivalent qualification
Appropriate Sales/ Marketing diploma or equivalent
At least one year sales experience in a foam plastics environment
Must have good communication skills
Must be computer literate i.e. MS office/computer skills (Word, Excel, Syspro etc)
Valid driver’s license is essential

Duties and Responsibilities:

To sell a range of manufactured and specialized products in the following sectors of industry: Construction, defence, shipping, packaging, manufacturing, farming, automotive, etc made up to customer specification.

Reporting to the Branch Manager
Calling on customers
Extensive cold calling
Calling on the construction, automotive, mining and general secondary industries.
Developing new business
Establishing technical requirements specific to customer needs
Liaising with client and factory regarding W/order requirements
Good product knowledge of cellular foam, rubber and plastic film products
Must have good communication skills
Doing additional duties as deemed necessary
