POSITION INFO:
Our national client, requires an experienced Technical Manager - Monogastric, for their Feed Mill Operations, based in the North West Province.
Essential Requirements:
- MSc in Animal Production, is essential
- Plus, a minimum of 3 years'''''''''''''''' experience within Feed Mill Operations
- Experience in poultry production management and husbandry
- Necessary nutritional experience of Monogastric feeds
- Sound knowledge of animal feed laboratory methods
- Meticulous and analytical competency
- Must be computer literate
- Good people and leadership skills as role trains & manages staff.
- Must be fully bilingual (English and Afrikaans)
Job Responsiblities include:
- Management of the complete Quality Control process at the Monogastric feed production facility
- Oversee, train and manage personnel in the Quality Control division
- Quality control on incoming Raw Materials used in the manufacturing of ruminant feeds
- Quality Control on finished goods and products for the ruminant market
- Managing records related to the Quality Control process for audit purposes
- Active involvement in quality systems ISO and GMP
- Evaluation of raw materials/final products and interpretation of laboratory results
- Technical support to customers regarding quality related queries and claims
- Close liaison with the Production department to maintain the highest quality of ruminant feeds and supplements.
