Our client in the Food and Beverage industry is looking for a Technical Manager to join their team.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

JOB DESCRIPTION
The Technical Sales Manager take responsibility for our beverage and food sales customers in the Southern Africa region, including the support of Key Account Customers, Retail Brand Customers, regular Food and Dairy Customers and cross selling of the full company pantry.

RESPONSIBILITIES
The main duties of this role will include:
? Actively support our commercial expansion strategy in Africa
? Customer advice on application & production technology
? Professional support during trial and first fillings for our customers on-site
? Consultant for our customers and sales team in relation to all technical questions
? Establish and develop long-term customer relationships monitoring the market and identify market potential
? Consulting for project coordination and process design

? Continuos aliignment with and support to local sales team

? Excellent English skills required
? Enthusiasm, initiative and ability to work under pressure
? Team spirit and strong communication and presentation skills
? Strong customer and service orientation and technology skills
? Structured and self-dependent working style

Qualifications

? Degree in food technology or comparable work experience
? Professional experience in technical sales support or as production technology consultant in the food and beverage industry
? Deep technical understanding and basic knowledge of business administration
? Flexible and willingness to travel regularly within African continent
