SUMMARY:
An exciting opportunity is available for a hands-on, independent and skilled professional to take on the role of Technical Manager for the 24/7 operations center of a leading IT services organization. If you possess strong leadership skills with a passion for developing and building teams, then this is the right opportunity for you.

POSITION INFO:

You will be responsible for the day-to-day technical operations within the ITOC to achieve optimum performance

Besides capacity planning and hiring of new staff, you will play an integral part in the career development, technical performance and mentoring of your team

Skills & Experience:

Minimum of 5 years’ experience working in a 24/7 IT Operations Centre environment

Minimum of 2 years’ experience in managing a team

Solid experience in ITIL Monitoring and Event Management

Extensive experience in administration and deployment of IT Infrastructure and technologies (e.g. Microsoft Server, Azure, Office 365, VMWare, Veeam, SCCM, Networking and Security Infrastructure)

Qualification:

Matric

ITIL, VMWare/ CCNP/ IT related qualification
