Job Description
Our client is seeking for the Technical Lead to be responsible for providing technical direction and leadership throughout the development lifecycle, ensuring the delivery of high-quality banking and finance solutions. This role requires the oversight of design, development, testing, and implementation activities, aligning technology strategies with business objectives. The Technical Lead collaborates closely with project managers, business analysts, and developers to ensure adherence to standards, best practises, and regulatory requirements prevalent in the banking and finance sector.
Job Duties
- Lead the design, development, and support of pricing and billing platforms, ensuring they accurately calculate fees, rates, charges, and revenue across banking products and services.
- Execute the technology roadmap, architecture, and integration strategy to ensure scalable, secure, and resilient pricing and billing capabilities.
- Collaborate with business, product, operations, finance, and risk teams to translate pricing strategies and regulatory requirements into effective technology solutions.
- Drive delivery excellence by overseeing development teams, managing technical risks, ensuring system performance, and maintaining high standards of quality and governance.
- Continuously optimize platforms through automation, data analytics, and modernization initiatives to improve revenue assurance, operational efficiency, and customer experience
Required Qualifications
- A relevant tertiary qualification in Information Technology, Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related field.
- Professional certifications in software development, architecture, or project management are advantageous.
Experience
- Strong software engineering background.
- Experience leading Agile delivery teams and managing CI/CD, DevOps, and cloud-native solutions.
- 10-12 years software engineering experience, with 5+ years in a Technical Lead role and exposure to pricing/billing platforms
