SUMMARY:
Our client is a leader in the manufacturing of fluid management systems on the East Rand and urgently looking for an ambitious Technical Internal Sales Administrator. Must come with a strong technical background to assist customers with quotations and to drive the whole internal sales process. Any knowledge and experience in valves or instrumentation will give you a competitive advantage. Min 2 years experience required

POSITION INFO:
Minimum Requirements:

Matric as a minimum.
Technical qualification (Instrumentation / Mechanical) will be an advantage.
At least two years of proven technical internal sales experience are essential.
Computer Literate, experience with a CRM system (JD Edwards) would be an advantage.
Handling of all technical and commercial aspects of internal sales.
Must have a strong technical background.
Understanding of process and applications of Food & Beverage, Healthcare, Oil and Gas (optional) industries.
Excellent communication skills, written and verbal.
A Customer-First attitude.

Responsibilities Include but are not limited to:

Work with the Sales Engineers to generate leads, engage with inactive customers, and provide selling specifications.
Provide follow-up activities related to quotes to increase quote conversion rates.
Prepare technical quotes for projects and submission.
Assisting Sales Engineers with (Full order to sales process):
- Processing of Quotes.
- Loading of Sales.
- Assisting with pricing.
Answering Client calls the telephone.
Assisting clients with technical queries.
Work closely with Sales Engineers to ensure a smooth transition of information and feedback from qualified leads.
