Technical Intern

SUMMARY:
A leading Waste Management company is seeking the services of a Technical Intern for its Head Office in Germiston.

POSITION INFO:

The successful candidate will be required to assist with supporting the sales department on a technical, environmental and compliance level with solutions and off takes for the Interwaste group. This includes but is not limited to;

Assisting with finding third party off takes for waste streams

Assist in ensuring all off takes are environmentally compliant

Attending site visits with sales team

Assist in developing internal solution to recover and treat waste streams

Assist in report writing as and when necessary

Supporting sales with environmental legislative knowledge

Assist in recording and keeping of waste information

Assist in developing off-take agreements with relevant third party off-takes of waste

Requirements

• An environmental management-, chemistry- or related degree

• Computer literacy, including proficiency in the use of SAP, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint and MS Word

• A driver’s licence: The post may involve travelling

• Location: Germiston Hub
