Technical Engineer/Technician

SUMMARY:
An established I.T service provider is looking for a Senior Support Technician to join their dynamic team. Experience working in a similar environment with exposure to different sized clients would be beneficial. IT experience must include setup and installation of network equipment and cabling, desktop support, maintenance and updates to MS Windows and Office 365, VPN’s, Backup (Veeam ideally), remote support, VMWare, setting up ISP accounts, IT security, antivirus, Synology and NAS support and maintain web portals.

POSITION INFO:
Manage Contract Clients and Various Adhoc Clients from time to time
Swap backups at Various Contact Clients Premises on a weekly basis
Manage Ninja RMM Web console for Updates and various issues
Manage Bitdefenter, Kaspersky and Panda Web consoles for clients antivirus and check for Quarantined files daily  
Maintenance to be carried out to customers specifications for the agreed contract hours 
Maintenance to ensure all updates are done for windows and Office 365, Anydesk, any 3rd party apps, Check HDD health, Temp File clean-up and any other issues the client may be having
Offer Remote support on Splashtop, Teamviewer and Anydesk.  
Perform Server Maintenance reports on all Contract clients Servers monthly
Perform Backup Restore Tests for All clients Quarterly ( Next is scheduled for April ) Knowledge of Veeam Backup software Crucial
Check Backups Daily for all contract clients and some none Contract clients and Fix any failed backup issues. This will include all Cloud Backups for all clients
Manage Office 365 Portal for all Clients with office 365 Accounts
Problem solve issues at all client who have logged a ticket with the company support. 
Manage and maintain all Synology’s supported by the company and any other NAS solutions
Manage and Maintain all types of Wi-Fi Devices, Netgear, Ubiquity, Genius, Etc and ensure Firmware is always up to date    
Maintain and manage all Printers and scan to email for all clients that require it.
Setup and Install ADSL / Fibre for any Clients Requesting it and manage setting up of accounts with ISP
Manage and maintain Xneelo Portal for all POP account and Domains
Manage and Maintain Afrihost Portal for all Pop account and Domains
Manage and maintain Tarsus Portal for all Microsoft Licenses
Log Tickets for all clients with ISP issues and follow up till issues resolved
Load all Hardware and software ( PC’s and Laptops ) for all purchases
Collect all Purchased for Suppliers
Deliver all Purchased Equipment to Clients
Maintain all inhouse Equipment and PC’s / Laptops
Setup, Installing, Upgrading and adding of Companies for Pastel, Payroll and VIP
Setting up of VPN’s Using either firewall or Softether VPN on servers and setting up Clients
Setup and installation of Network Equipment including Network Cabling 
Maintain an Asset register for Clients that have requested it
Strip and rebuild Laptops, Laptop LED screens and Desktops as needed to replace parts
Ensure all Job Cards and invoices for suppliers are scanned and sent to the admin staff for capture
Support MAC for Upgrades, Reinstalls and Problem solving
Must have own car and be prepared to use it to visit clients when needed
