JOB DESCRIPTION:

REQUIREMENTS

Grade 12 or equivalent PLUS Engineering Diploma ESSENTIAL
Computer Literate
Experience with Cad Drawing (Preferably Solidworks and AutoCad) essential
Outstanding organizational and multitasking abilities
Active listener and excellent communication skills
Strong spatial perception, technically minded & a Creative thinker

DUTIES

Interpret customer drawings and samples, assessing whether all the information is available to create what the customer is looking for.
Use relevant tools to extract the required information to draw the part.
Creates vector drawings in the format required for laser cutting.
Assist colleagues and customers with queries relating to part drawings.
Ensure final designs comply with regulations and quality standards
Recommend solutions to solve the issues that are found.
Create detailed designs with computer-aided design (CAD) software
Preparation of customer drawing before production
Manage strict deadlines
Working team members and liaising with different departments

Salary: R20 – 25k dependent on experience
