JOB DESCRIPTION:

REQUIREMENTS

  • Grade 12 or equivalent PLUS Engineering Diploma ESSENTIAL
  • Computer Literate
  • Experience with Cad Drawing (Preferably Solidworks and AutoCad) essential
  • Outstanding organizational and multitasking abilities
  • Active listener and excellent communication skills
  • Strong spatial perception, technically minded & a Creative thinker
 
DUTIES
 
  • Interpret customer drawings and samples, assessing whether all the information is available to create what the customer is looking for.
  • Use relevant tools to extract the required information to draw the part.
  • Creates vector drawings in the format required for laser cutting.
  • Assist colleagues and customers with queries relating to part drawings.
  • Ensure final designs comply with regulations and quality standards
  • Recommend solutions to solve the issues that are found.
  • Create detailed designs with computer-aided design (CAD) software
  • Preparation of customer drawing before production
  • Manage strict deadlines
  • Working team members and liaising with different departments
 
Salary: R20 – 25k dependent on experience
