POSITION INFO:

Due to rapid growth our client is seeking an experienced Electronics Buyer to join their team in Montague Gardens. This position will report to the Merchandise Manager and will require someone who has initiative, can self-manage, and work independently. This position will require some travelling from time to time.

Duties:

• Planning & Budgeting
• Sourcing
• Buying / Purchase Order Management
• Stock Management
• Supplier Management
• Research
• Reporting

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

• Relevant qualification.
• Minimum of 5 years'''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''' experience as a buyer.
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience as an electronics buyer.
• A clear understanding of the retail cycle and buying process.
• An understanding of costing models, price points and margins.
• Comprehensive knowledge of products in area of specialization.
• A comprehensive knowledge and understanding of the SA electronic appliances market, customers and competitors.
• Well develop MS Office skills (with advanced excel skills).
• Strong verbal & written communication
• Fluent in English and Afrikaans.
• Driver’s licence.
• SA Citizens only
• EE/AA Candidates only
• Must be Criminal and Credit Clear
• Must reside in the Greater Cape Town Area
