Technical Buyer

SUMMARY:
A leading multi-national engineering and manufacturing company is seeking to appoint a multi-skilled Technical Buyer within Gauteng to analyse and negotiate long term local and international suppliers.

POSITION INFO:

Experience:

• 3 -6 years’ experience as a technical buyer with hands -on experience within the mechanical or material handling industry.
• Identify and negotiate long term contracts with local and international suppliers.
• Procurement and SLA management for all services, engineering, material handling, consumables, etc.
• Ensure that orders are delivered on time and all rules and regulations are adhered to.
• Responsible for all strategic cost reduction and calculations.
• Negotiate contracts and procure products from local and global suppliers.

 Qualifications & Requirements:

• BTech/BCom/ Relevant technical qualification.
• Commercial or Project Management qualification will be an added advantage.
