POSITION INFO:

A French company specialised in baking ingredients and solutions is looking for an experienced technical salesperson to represent them in Cape Town. Are you a person who has a passion for baking and has sales experience in this environment, then this may be the opportunity you have been waiting for?

Requirements:

• Matric certificate
• Baking experience required
• Qualification in Food Science/Technology Would be advantageous. 
• Knowledge on premix and improvers
• 5 years of sales or technical support minimum experience.
• Own transport
• Great attitude, vibrant

Responsibilities

• Helping manage existing clients and ensure they stay satisfied and positive.
• Bake at customers when required for new products and technical support
• Work with test bakers on projects on product developments
• Communicate with production and quality departments when needed
• Monthly sales reports
• Ongoing communicating with sales manager and MD on specific topics
• Make product and company presentations
• Participate in expositions and trade shows
• Building key customer relationships, identifying business opportunities, negotiating and closing business deals, and maintaining extensive knowledge of current market conditions.
• Finding potential new customers, presenting to them, ultimately converting them into clients, and continuing to grow business in the future.

Remuneration:

• Based on competency and experience
• Travel expenses will be covered
