SUMMARY:
Our Client, an Electronics and Security company is looking for a Technical Administrator to join their team in their  branch

JOB DESCRIPTION:

JOB PURPOSE
To filter all customer calls to the Kwa-Zulu Natal Branch, program and testing of all products, provide a customer and an administrative service and ensure departmental stock control and safekeeping.

KEY AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY
  • Daily running of the Branch
  • Petty Cash
  • Purchasing of groceries
  • Cleanliness and housekeeping
  • Filing of all invoices/picking slips etc.
  • Programming of all products
  • Setting up new customer base
  • Loading orders unto the production schedule
  • Liaison with head office on order schedules
  • Ordering of stock/min & max levels/stock take/all admin around stock take/mini stock takes throughout the month
  • Counting of stock arriving from head office and then transferring into correct warehouse
  • Freight company liaison for deliveries
  • Processing of all orders and invoices on pastel
  • Credit card payments at counter
  • Managing process of repairs back to head office
  • Managing codes for trade ins on tech-tool
  • Processing of all quotes on pastel
  • Answering the telephone
  • Assisting over the counter customer’s

FUNCTIONAL OUTPUTS/ACTIVITIES
  • Ensure the branch is operational daily
  • Manage petty cash by keeping record of all slips and submitting to finance. Ensure petty cash is always balancing
  • Oversee that the branch is kept clean and tidy at all times
  • Purchasing of groceries for the branch as per monthly requirements and within budget
  • Software programming reflects requirements
  • Conduct accurate template maintenance
  • Ensure accurate capturing of customer data 
  • Non-standard client requests are accurately recorded
  • Conduct jig testing which ensures total product functionality
  • Testing equipment is kept clean and fully functional
  • Ensure accuracy of quotations, pro-forma invoices and invoices
  • Ensure products are packed correctly and include accessories as per customer specification
  • Check order matches sales order before forwarding to dispatch

ACADEMIC AND TRADE
QUALIFICATIONS
Matric

WORK EXPERIENCE AND
SKILLS
Must Have:
 Good communication skills
 Ability to speak fluently
 Basic Computer Skills i.e., Word, Excel, Email
 Related work experience
Preferable:
 Experience in the electronics manufacturing environment
 Pastel
