A market leader in the insurance industry seeks a young and driven Technical Accountant to join their finance team based in Centurion.

*Please note the team is working from home and a reliable internet connection and office setup is required for the successful incumbent.

Duties include, but not limited to:

Calculate and compare ratios

Splitting of premiums collected

Claims payments and recons

Compiling and distribution of broker statistics

Allocations of deposits from premium bank accounts

Recons of deposit and cost accounts

Distribution of broker packs

Issuing of deposit slips

Candidates who think of themselves as driven, meticulous on attention to detail and consencious in follow ups and feedback are invited to apply for this opportunity.

Education:

BCom in Accounting or equivalent

Skills & Experience:

2 to 3 years'' experience in a technical / operational Accountant role within the insurance industry is non-negotiable

Premiums experience is NON-NEGOTIABLE

Advanced MS Excel skills

Sound knowledge and understanding of related financial legislation and processes

Financial acumen

Strong personality

Ability to work in a highly pressured and fast paced environment

Team player
