Tech Support Operator - Century City – R12,000 per month plus benefits

We are looking for a well-spoken, technology savvy, energised individual with patience and perseverance that will integrate well with the rest of the team.

Key Areas of Responsibility

-          Capture technical customer concerns / issues via email / telephone and investigate the cause

-          Run diagnostics in order to find and solve problems

-          Contact technicians to resolve problems

-          Use in house tools to prepare / test site equipment

-          Document work accurately and punctually

-          Provide after hour standby support on a rotation basis for Technical site issues

Preferred Skills

-          Matric / Grade 12 or equivalent qualification (compulsory)

-          Any networking experience beneficial (not compulsory)

-          Any DB query reading / writing skills beneficial (not compulsory)

-          Any hardware configuration experience beneficial (not compulsory)

-          Previous support experience (compulsory)

-          Touch typing (not compulsory)

-          Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint proficient

-          Proficient in using a PC and email

-          Customer service/helpdesk experience

-          Able to follow guidelines
