About the Role:
A dynamic and experienced Team Leader to oversee operations in our biltong and meat production facility. This role requires strong leadership, a commitment to food safety, and hands-on experience in a certified food environment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead and supervise production teams to achieve daily targets.
• Ensure compliance with FSSC 22000 standards and food safety protocols.
• Monitor quality control, allergen management, and hygiene practices.
• Drive continuous improvement in processes and team performance.
• Conduct training and promote a strong food safety culture.
• Oversee environmental monitoring and ensure adherence to company policies.
Requirements: Proven experience in food manufacturing, preferably in meat.
• Knowledge of FSSC 22000 standards and compliance requirements.
• Strong leadership and communication skills
• Ability to manage production schedules and meet deadlines.
• Attention to detail and commitment to quality.
