Qualifications / Requirements:

Diploma in Operations Management or be an appropriately Qualified Artisan (e.g Welder, Boilermaker)
Minimum of 3 years experience in a manufacturing environment, coupled with production flow line knowledge
Must be able to read and interpret engineering drawings
Knowledge and application of shop floor industrial relations and the ability to manage and control staff timekeeping and attendance
Computer literate
Good verbal and written communication skills
Knowledge and experience of welding and welding processes highly advantageous
MRP system knowledge highly advantageous
Own reliable transport
Willing to work ships and overtime when required

Key Performance Areas:

Gathering, analysing and reporting of production information
Complying with organizational standards
Maintain 5S in responsible area
Collating and recording daily production figures
