SUMMARY:
Team Lead (Development and Engineering) - Centurion

POSITION INFO:

Statutory Requirements:

vAdherence to all internal Standard Operating Procedures and HR Policies.

vAwareness of any statutory requirements that impact the Client as a business.

Key Performance Areas:

vTeam Leadership.

vDelivery of strategic projects.

vBest practice quality and testing.

vSystem maintenance and support.

vKnowledge transfer.

vEngineering processes and environment.

Minimum Requirements:

vRelevant Degree or Diploma or Relevant Work Experience required.

vTraining on related areas and skills would be advantageous.

vDegree / Diploma with 4+ years of relevant work experience or 6+ years of relevant work experience.

vPersonal Skills:

oHigh attention to detail with a strong focus on quality.

oGood planning, organising and leading skills.

oGood inter-personal skills.

oEncourages collaboration and delivering within the delivery processes.

oAble to work effectively within a team.

vIT Skills:

oExperience in SCRUM AGILE methodology.

oExperience in C++ and C# required.

•Experience in .NET Core, WCF, and WebAPI an advantage.

oExperience with Azure DevOps (TFS and GIT) or MS Team Foundation Server (TFS) would be advantageous.

oExperience in SQL Server 2016/9, including:

•Relational database design.

•Extensive and complex SQL queries.

•Experience in SQL Reporting Services advantageous.

oExperience with message queueing technologies such as RabbitMQ, ApacheMQ, Kafka would be advantageous.

oMulti-threaded and parallel development experience advantageous.

oService Oriented Architecture (SOA) experience beneficial.

oMicrosoft Certified Professional (MCP) designation is advantage.

oExposure to good coding standard practices and source code configuration management.

oExperience in SOLID, KISS, TDD, DDD and Clean Coding practices.

vOther Requirements:

oAssist with tasks as assigned from time to time.

oMight be required to work extended hours – as and when agreed.
