SUMMARY:
Tax Compliance Officer

POSITION INFO:

A well-established accounting and tax consultancy based in the Cape Town CBD requires a Tax Compliance Officer to join their dynamic tax department.

Requirements:

Relevant Degree or Diploma

At least three to five years’ experience working in a tax department in an accounting practice environment

Experience working with TaxWare

Proficiency with all aspects on the SARS E-filing website

Responsibilities:

Preparation and submission of all tax types, including those for individuals, companies, close corporations, and trusts

Preparation and submission of all tax registrations, including income tax, Turnover Tax, VAT, and employees’ tax

Reporting directly to management and partners on all tax related matters

Liaising directly with clients and SARS both telephonically and via emails, as well as meeting where necessary.
