Tax Assistant

SUMMARY:
Our client, a well-established accounting firm based in Goodwood, Cape Town is seeking a Tax Assistant to ensure that all client base tax returns are submitted and to do query follow-ups from SARS and clients.

POSITION INFO:

Minimum Requirements:

• Matric.
• Fluent in Afrikaans and English.
• Relevant qualification in Taxation.
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in Tax related field.
• Exposure in MS Office and Skytax(or other similar tax program)

Main responsibilities:

• Meeting deadlines under high volume of pressure.
• Assisting in all tax related fields.
• Communication between clients, colleagues and Managers of tax related areas.
• Processing Tax Returns.
• Maintaining databases.
• Administrative assistance and Office support.
• Tax support, maintenance and query assistance.

Additional Information:

• Operating Hours:  8:00 AM – 4:30 PM.
