SUMMARY:
Multi-national concern has an opportunity for a Tax Accountant to be based at their offices in the East Rand. Previous experience in a Tax role and with a postgrad tax qualification is essential.

POSITION INFO:

The Tax Accountant will provide tax accounting and tax compliance services to regions within their portfolio

The role will include numerous African countries within the portfolio

The duties would include:

Corporate income tax (including provisional tax), VAT, withholding tax and compliance with any other taxes

Payroll related tax

Ensuring all correct tax deductions are made regarding intercompany payments and ensure these deductions are correctly files and paid over to the revenue authorities

Preparing monthly reports

Manage and drive all tax audit requests

Preparing tax and deferred tax calculations

Providing general tax advice for local and international

B.Com in Accounting / Tax

Post Graduate Tax qualification preferred (HDip Tax / Advanced Tax Diploma) essential

Minimum of 2 years commercial experience

African country experience highly advantageous

Ability to communicate in French is only a nice to have

Knowledge of SAP / SAP Business One
