About the position:

The main purpose of this role will be to ensure that talent and revert bookings are coordinated, as well as to provide administrative support to the Talent department

Responsibilities:

  • Confirm availability and negotiate times with talent
  • Book talent for recording sessions
  • Book talent reverts
  • Identify talent problems and suggest solutions
  • Maintain communication with the Talent Manager and team, to ensure production deadlines are met
  • Maintain and update the talent database
  • Coordinate auditions and ensure all stakeholders are kept informed
  • Coordinate audition rejections and feedback
  • Coordinate and ensure that all talent contracts are signed and filed
  • Ensure that talent relationships are maintained
  • Capture and reconcile artist purchase orders
  • POPIA Compliance documents completed

Requirements:

  • They are looking for candidates with exceptional people, communication and negotiation skills.
  • A qualification or background in film and media and/or talent scouting would give you the upper hand when applying for this position.
  • If you have a great attitude, are willing to learn, have a strong work ethic, love TV and movies, and have the ability to work in a close knit team, then this may be the right position for you.
  • Successful candidates will report to the Talent Manager and will work closely with the Production and Localisation teams.

Qualifications and Experience required:

  • Degree/Diploma/Certificate in Film and Media
  • Experience in talent management or recruitment preferred
  • Experience in sound, media or film industry

Skills required:

  • Talent management
  • Microsoft Office
  • Knowledge of Postproduction processes
  • English, Afrikaans and/or multiple language comprehension
  • Driver’s license (offices near the airport)
  • Negotiation skills
  • Sound people and communication skills
