SUMMARY:
The Tactical Response Officer will report to the Integrated Services Manager.

POSITION INFO:

Purpose of the Job:

The Tactical Response Officer will report to the Integrated Services Manager. The primary responsibility of the Tactical Response Officer is highlighted below. 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Enforce the Company Disciplinary ‘Code of Conduct’
• Ensure efficient and effective operation of the site
• Handle and resolve Staff and Client complaints
• Carry out duties and tasks as per Site Job Description
• Take proactive approach to Security-related matters
• Adopt an initiative geared towards Security Operational Excellence
• Create and consistently maintain relationships with relevant SAPS and CPF Branches within the Area
• Improve the operational system, process and policies in support of the organization’s mission, specifically support better management reporting, information flow, Client relations and organizational planning
• Manage and increase the effectiveness and efficiency of the allocated Operations team
• Coordinate and communicate between support Departments, Operational Teams and Clients
• Implement effective controls and monitoring Processes
• Participate in site Investigations and report on findings
• Respond and interact with public

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

• PSIRA Grade A Registered
• Drivers Licence Code 08
• Riot Control experience
• Informer Intelligence
• Own Reliable Transport
• Experience with Tactical Intervention Processes
• 5 years’ experience in SAPS or Military Experience
• Firearm Competency (Handgun/Shotgun/Self Guarding Riffle/Self-Loading Rifle)
• Knowledge of the Security Industry regulations including Operational and Client requirements
