SUMMARY:
Tactical Response Officer is responsible for ensuring that all security related matters are managed.
POSITION INFO:
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Liaising with the Client regarding security issues
• Handle and resolve Staff and Client complaints
• Take proactive approach to Security-related matters
• Adopt an initiative geared towards Security Operational Excellence
• Create and consistently maintain relationships with relevant SAPS and CPF Branches within the
Area
• Improve the operational system, process and policies in support of the organization’s mission,
specifically support better management reporting, information flow, Client relations and
organizational planning
• Manage and increase the effectiveness and efficiency of the allocated Operations team
• Implement effective controls and monitoring processes
• Investigate on-site allegations and report on findings accordingly
• Respond and interact with public
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
• PSIRA Grade B Registered
• Level of Secondary Education - Grade 10
• NQF 6 Formal Security Qualification is mandatory
• At least 5 accredited NKP training courses
• 10 years of direct experience as a tactical officer
• Riot Control experience
• Informer Intelligence
• Experience with Tactical Intervention Processes
• 5 years’ experience in SAPS or Military Experience
• Firearm Competency (Handgun/Shotgun/Self Guarding Riffle/Self-Loading Rifle)
• Knowledge of the Security Industry regulations including Operational and Client requirements
