SUMMARY:
TRADER - MEAT INDUSTRY (Northern Suburbs, Cape Town) R20,000 - R25,000 Basic + excellent incentives

POSITION INFO:

Established meat importing, processing, distribution and retail company seeks a Meat Trader to build and maintain relationships with internal and external customers and suppliers and manage key accounts, qualify customers, develop new accounts and sell stock. You will need min 5years industry experience with a good network. You will need a driver’s license and your own reliable transport. If you are hungry to earn big commissions, then this role is for you. You will need a working knowledge of meat cuts, frozen food, business and financial processes, quality systems, retail change and promo structures. You must be able to travel and do client visits on a rotation basis. Your main duties will include Key account management and relationship building, up and cross selling, merchandising and negotiating shelf space. You will need above average negotiation skills and a solid network. You will need excellent experience pertaining to demand forecasting, competitive pricing and benchmarking.
