POSITION INFO:

RedCat Recruitment is seeking a TRADE TESTED TECHNICIAN (DIESEL / AUTO ELECTRICIAN / FORKLIFT MECHANIC) for a well-established company, position based in Pietermaritzburg, KwaZulu-Natal.

JOB DESCRIPTION

Grade 12.

Valid driver’s license.

Valid forklift operator license.

Person must be fluent in English (speaking, reading, writing).

Qualified Diesel or Auto Electrician plus experience with forklifts or similar material handling equipment; or Qualified Forklift Mechanic.

5yrs+ previous working experience with mechanical, hydraulic and electrical experience pertaining to forklifts.

General working knowledge of auto electrical systems (ignition, starting, charging, illumination).

The purpose of this position is to maintain, service and repair material handling equipment, systems, and products on company premises or at customer sites in a timely and cost-effective manner so that customer and company requirements are met; maintaining of vehicle records.
