DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
To adhere to all your applicable work instructions, once training is complete.
Employees are required to identify and report any potential risks within their area of responsibility to their immediate superior.
If and when required, the employee will make him/herself available to work overtime as requested by his superior within an acceptable planned interval.
It is the responsibility of every employee to ensure that they are familiar and adhere to all statutory & regulatory requirements.

Work Instructions, Norms and Standards.
Drive continuous improvement activities in quality, cycle times, process improvement, tooling,
machine availability through lean techniques to enhance the capability of existing processes and remove waste.
Ensure all work is undertaken to a high-quality standard and adheres to all quality standard
regulations.
Manufacturing of new tools as directed by the toolroom manager according to tool drawings or
any other instruction for the purpose of production and/or development.
Effective setting up and programming CNC lathe/milling machines
Reconditioning or modifying old redundant stock on tooling or replacing existing worn tooling.
Knowledge of the function of the specific tools in the complete machine tool assembly.
Carry out planned preventative maintenance.
Execution of quality control requirements as per Job Cards.
Maintain and support safety standards as defined in the OHS act as well as the Company Health and Safety policy.
Enforce and adhere to 5S and general housekeeping procedures.
Keeping abreast of new equipment, methods and technologies.
