Job Description

My client has an opportunity for a young dymanic individual to join the Production Team as a Production Quality Controller

You will be responsible for the following:

• Optimising product quality and output
• Online processes and make enhancements / adjustment
• Making decisions on passing or rejecting products based on deviation from set parameters
• Process analysis and troubleshooting
• Process checks
• Rework support
• Information gathering
• Operator technical training / support (ie revision of SOPs)
• Mini projects (Process improvement relating to FS, quality, productivity, safety)
• Production co-ordination
• Product rejection
• Production down times
• Customer complaints

Qualifications

• Matric
• B.Tech Food Technology/Biotechnology or Equivalent

Skills

• Food processing environment
• Food analysis (Lab analysis)
• Food Safety/Quality standards (eg. HACCP, FSSC22000, ISO9001 etc)
• Working with people / Supervision / Team work / Leading projects
