TMO 17446 - R&D Technologist

Our client has an opportunity for an experienced individual to join their team in the capacity of the R&D Technologist. The successful applicant will be responsible for the following:

• Develop experimental design and execute at lab scale.
• Evaluate product brief (specifications) from Marketing on new products to be developed
• Develop products and conduct relevant analysis to verify quality attributes according to product brief
• Conduct upscale pilot plant trials.
• Compile production process operating guidelines for product manufacturing and hand over to production.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, technical, manufacturing, clients and suppliers
• Assist production personnel with process and product trouble-shooting and recommend corrective action
• Maintain updated technical documents related to product, quality, raw materials and analytical methods specifications for products.
• Liaise with Procurement departments on raw materials and packaging specification changes
