SUMMARY:
Our client in the mining industry, has an opportunity available for a TMM Foreman, to be based in the Brits area.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Requirements:
  • NQF level 4 (National Senior Certificate or Grade 12 or Adult Senior Certificate) with English literacy or N3 in Engineering Studies
  • Diesel Mechanic/Fitter/Electrical trade certificate ( Sec 13 or 26D)
  • Completed formal learnership programme prior to obtaining a trade test
  • Foreman Certification will be advantageous
  • At least 5 years’ experience as an artisan prior to being a foreman
  • At least 3 years experience as a TMM Foreman
  • Experience in Drill Rigs, UVs, LHDs, Bobcats, Manitous
  • Supervisory management skills
  • Computer literacy in MS Office
  • Medical Certificate of Fitness
Duties:
  • Manage and supervise TMM teams underground
  • Assist in implementation of asset management strategies
  • Mentoring of artisans
  • Managing of a maintenance budget
  • Development of subordinates
  • Implementation of engineering standards and procedures
  • Adherence to Mine Health and Safety Act Regulations
