TLB Operator

RESPONSIBILITES RELATING TO  KEY PERFORMANCE AREA

Safe Operation of TLB machinery

-

Handling and/or moving material

Maintain daily logs of equipment usage & maintenance

-

Daily maintenance of equipment

-

Identify and report hazards

-

Proper utilization of Machinery (Must have a valid certificate for the machinery)

-

Maintenance and cleaning of the machinery (TLB)

-

Any other reasonable adhoc duty as required or requested by management.

It should be noted that individuals may need to expand their roles / scope to cover the work load of other employees in times of high work loads or individuals whom may be absent from work. This is the sole discretion of management.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES

-

Ability to adhere to work schedule and follow through on daily tasks given

-

Ability to sit or stand for long periods: handle and manipulate objects on a repetitive basis.

-

Apply safe working procedures with due care for the environment and health of self and others

-

Ability to see well and distinguish between back-up alarms, voices and other normal sounds consistent with landfill sites

EDUCATION LEVEL

-

Std. 6 / Grade 8

-

Relevant and valid trade certification for the operation of earth moving machinery, vehicles or tools. (Valid TLB Certificate)
