• Responsible for VMware system administration support to various customers
• Deliver new infrastructure in support, projects, monitoring and optimization of implemented systems.
• To provide technical support services s
• Determine requirements and resolve problems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor''s degree in computer science, information systems
• ITIL Foundation certified
• VMware certified
• Grade 12 with Maths & Science (Essential)

Skills

• Minimum of 5+ years of experience in ICT, with at least 4 years in VMware System administration
• Experience in administering enterprise-scale ESX environments.
• In depth experience in hardware, system software, storage and networking.
• Shell scripting experience
• Vulnerability and Patch Management
• Automation experience
• Cloud experience
• Backup and recovery experience
• Working knowledge of BMC Remedy
• ITIL Foundation Level (Essential)
• High level of IT knowledge and experience.
• Comprehensive experience in Excel and other related Microsoft Office products.
• Comprehensive experience in an incident/problem/change environment.
