Job Description

• Cloud Data Management & Enterprise Backup Solutions for:
• Backup and Recovery
• Replication, Data Archival and Disaster Recovery (DR)
• Analytics and reporting
• Cloud Based Workloads and Cloud Migration
• Disaster Recovery (DR) to Cloud
• Deliver software demonstrations and presentations to show the functional and technical capabilities of the relevant product to meet the customer’s needs
• Must be able to a build a BOM (Bill of Material)
• Provide Technical support on the product and understand technical value proposition
• Take ownership of the POC process for the product assigned to you
• Assist with project plans and network diagrams
• Provide pre and post-sales technical support at a mid-level to resellers and end users

Qualifications

• Tertiary Degree/ND Information Technology
• MCSA / MCSE Certification
• Relevant Security certifications
• Office 365 Certified
• Either VMware or Hyper-V Certification
• Azure Certification for cloud
• Windows Server Certification

Skills

• Min 3 years’ Networking experience in a similar environment
• Basic understanding of the enterprise backup landscape and Virtualisation
• Networking fundamentals (subnets, VLAN protocols e.g. trunk ports, access ports, LAG)
• Basic understanding and knowledge of LUNs, clustering, RAID groups, NAS and SAN
• Ability to troubleshoot is crucial
• Software Backup experience:
• Server Backup - Hyper-V and VMware Virtual Server Backup
• Local, offsite, multi-site, and cloud-based environments and also supports cost-effective cloud backup to a Microsoft Azure Block Blob storage account.
• Broad range of experience to plan, deploy, optimize and troubleshoot a backup/restore solution
• Replication
• Endpoint Backup
• Software and backup Experience on a product like Veeam, Veritas, Commvault, or similar
