Employer Description

Leading supplier of Hydraulic Controls, with a strong presence in Africa and Abroad

Job Description

• Preparation of the monthly management report pack for onward submission to our German shareholders.
• This includes reconciliation of all Balance Sheet control accounts and accuracy of the reporting information
• Financial and administrative control of the Fixed Asset register.
• Manage local and foreign creditor accounts
• Review debtor accounts
• Managing the customer credit application process
• Prepare and review monthly and ad hoc journals, including the foreign exchange revaluation and monthly payroll journal.
• Manage month end procedures
• Assist with preparation of cash flow projections, audit files, budgets, taxation schedules and other required financial reporting.
• Assist the Group Financial Manager with identification and implementation of projects to improve administrative processes and efficiency.
• Perform or assist with other bookkeeping functions when required
• Review the VAT return supporting documentation

Qualifications

• BCom Accounting/Finance (Essential)

Skills

• Proficiency in all MS Office products with a strong focus on Excel.
• SAGE Evolution, SAGE Pastel
• 10 years + experience in Accounting
