Job Description

• Maintaining and upgrading Sabre Networks & customer owned networks to meet repeater equipment specifications within the KZN region
• Customer Retention
• Sabre Radio Networks maintenance, service & upgrades
• Customer owned networks maintenance, service & upgrades
• Control room base stations maintenance, service & upgrades
• Product Training & Support
• Administration
• General branch support

Qualifications

• Grade 12
• Valid Driver’s license
• N6 (Electronics)
• A+
• N+

Skills

• Minimum 2 years experience in RF and VHF Networks
• Sabre Radio Networks maintenance, service & upgrades
• NETMON monitoring of all VHF networks in region/s
• Climb mast, structures and towers.
• Install antenna’s brackets, clamps, poles etc.
• Assembling of antenna connections on antenna cables.
• Programming of repeaters & base stations.
• Generate accurate job cards of all site work & record keeping thereof.
• Conduct ongoing high site evaluations, client control rooms
• Assemble and test routers, base stations and other field equipment as and when required.
• Diagnose and identify fault trends and advise Technical Support Manager thereof. 24/7 standby
• Identify faults and signal interference on site.

• Control base stations maintenance, service & upgrades
