Job Description

 

• Accurately capturing and processing all creditor invoices, credit/debit notes
• Match invoices against order/quotes
• Check correctness of Creditor invoices, i.e. Company Name, Vat number,
  Address
• Follow up with suppliers on outstanding invoices, queries and statements
• Ensure invoices authorised in accordance with levels of authority
• Prepare timeous and correct reconciliations for Supplier payments
  Strict adhering to payment terms and deadlines
• Prepare and recon ad-hoc sundry Creditor payments
  Capture bank statement daily
• Filing
• General office admin
• Assist and support to Finance Team

 

Qualifications

 

• Matric
• Tertiary Qualification in Finance

 

Skills

 

• 3- 4 years experience
• Great Plains Essential
• Advanced Excel
• Sound financial and reconciliation skills
• Understanding of payments and accounting
• Excellent attention to detail, accuracy and good memory
• Good communication skills – Verbal and written
• Excellent Time management
• Able to work under pressure and remain focused
• Able to show initiative.
• 4 years minimum experience in creditors
