TELESALES - Nelspruit

POSITION INFO:

Our national client is seeking an well driven telesales person to form part of their company in the following areas: Cape Town, Johannesburg, Durban, Nelspruit and Port Elizabeth.

A brief description of the Telesales positions are as follows:

  • Tackle the job with passion, credibility and drive –at same time have fun
  • To receive sales calls from customers and assist in the sales process by quoting for the customer’s  needs as well as using the cross selling / up selling methodology.
  •  Follow up on the quotations within an acceptable timeframe.  Enter the sales   order into the Fincon order processing system.
  •  Canvas new business by outbound calling prospective customers. Winning  new clients as well as maintaining and developing further relationships with existing clients
  • Close the deal and start hunting for the next one.

Key Responsibilities include:

  • Build strong relationships with the Customer
  • Attend Sales/Product Training
  • Ability to create an effective Sales Plan
  • Meet or Surpass allocated Sales Targets
  • Attend to all sales calls / emails
  • Customer quote generation in Fincon
  • Follow up on quotes within 24 hours
  • Accurate Order entry
  • Consistent Maintenance of back-orders
  • New business development
  • 360 Degree Customer service
  • Attend Meetings

Main activitoes of this Role:

  • It is incumbent of all  staff to at all times assist one another in a spirit of co-operation with the ultimate goal of furthering the goals and aspirations of the company
  • Meet or surpass the allocated Sales Targets set by Management
  • Attend to incoming sales calls in a polite and professional manner
  • Create a sales plan, identify product groups, target customers, review and adjust if needed
  • Make outgoing calls in in a polite and professional manner
  • Generate sales leads  and update customer base
  • Suggested outgoing call rate number = 36 per day on average.

  • Competitor feedback
  • Call plan generation for following week
  • Quote for customer requirements using Company pricing guide
  • Follow up on quotes within 24 hours and maintain quote register
  • Enter customer orders directly into the Fincon order processing system
  • Canvas new business opportunities – using outgoing telephone calls
  • Customer account management – ensure all aspects of the customers sales and marketing requirement are satisfactorily met
  • Attend Sales Meetings and provide required feedback
  • Attend any required product training or sales training as scheduled from time to time
  • Assist with any project/item as may be requested from time to time by Management

 The ideal candidate must meet the following requirements:

  • Minimum Grade 12 education
  • An ability to thrive in a high performance, IT sales environment.
  • Entrepreneurial spirit with dedication to succeed in a sales role
  • Passion, credibility and drive.
  • Interpersonal skills that will enable you to build strong relationships with your clients, allowing you to sell hard and close the deal.
  • Knowledge of the IT environment and related products.
