SUMMARY:
To manage all technical aspects of paint manufacturing within the company including quality and safety as well as leading a team, overseeing developments and legal requirements

POSITION INFO:

Duties:

Directing the quality management system to ensure compliance
Formulate and manage implementation of new developments
Review existing policies and improve QMS
Implement new and improved systems
Represent the business on all technical issues
Ensure staff understand policies and procedures
Managing quality and laboratory activities
Liaise closely with management, suppliers and clients
Budget management
Support other departments

Qualifications and experience:

Chemical and quality management qualifications
SAPMA courses
Previous technical / quality experience gained in the paint or similar industry
Being fully computer literate with good working knowledge of the Microsoft
Good interpersonal skills with a firm disposition.
Self- motivated with good communication and team working skills.

Remuneration:

A negotiable package based on qualifications and experience.
