TECHNICAL ACCOUNT SUPERVISOR, (Ink Manufacturing), Midrand, up to R27k

JOB DESCRIPTION:

RS Recruitment Services is assisting a well-established organisation in the INK MANUFACTURING INDUSTRY to recruit a TECHNICAL ACCOUNT SUPERVISOR to be based at their offices in Spartan JOHNNESBURG. Up to R27 000 ctc.

OUR CLIENT IS A LEADING MANUFACTURER, DISTRIBUTOR AND SUPPLIER OF SPECIALISED INKS, COATINGS AND ADHESIVES THROUGHOUT SOUTH AFRICA.

The ideal candidate should have/be the following:

Previous experience in a printing environment, Ink lab or Colour matching department an advantage.
Colour test passed.
Technical aptitude.
Customer service orientation – relationship building.
Good verbal and written skills.
Ability to work unsupervised.

Key responsibilities, but not limited to:

Conducting drawdowns/proofs for new pantone/jobs.
Assisting press operators with queries and troubleshooting on press.
Recording and closing out incidents of non-conformance.
Capturing information on the Ink Management System.
Assisting press operators with colour matching and colour scans.
Maintaining necessary documentation accurately and timeously.
Supervising of In-plant Ink Technicians.
Prioritising the daily tasks and workflow for the In-plant Ink Technicians (Overseeing the mixing and issuing
of ink, varnish, chemicals and other consumable items).
Management of inventory on site.

Remuneration:

Up to R27 000 ctc
