SUMMARY:
Vacancy: Technician T2 (Thabazimbi) WANTED !!

• Formal Education: Degree in Electronics / Electrical 
• Knowledge of IT (Hardware & software)
• Good computer skills
• Valid driver's license
• Own vehicle

POSITION INFO:
Short Description / Purpose of Job:

Providing comprehensive technical services for the efficient and safe operation of electronic technology for health, safety, productivity in the mining sector.

Key Responsibilities (Technical):

• Installation, repairing, certification and technical support of electronic products and systems to the highest technical and safety standards on the specific mines
• Set up and test units to meet specific requirements
• Quality checks all work as per company quality policy
• Troubleshoot problems to determine root cause of issue and recommended a corrective action or escalate problem to senior level
• Maintenance of the electronic equipment and software, to ensure it is according to company standards and client scope of work
• Reporting and recording further maintenance requirements
• Assist with new projects
• Operates hand tools and small power tools and understand their use and function
• Housekeeping
• Any other duties given to you by your direct Supervisor / Manager

Key Responsibilities (Support):

• Liaise with other technical employees / customers on site, ensuring quality of work
• Keep supervisor updated
• Feedback to Technical supervisor
• Developing of customer relations
• Completion of required documentation
