System & Deployment Engineer

The Systems and Deployment Engineer is responsible for providing technical support and guidance around the implementation of Nview MDR systems and configuration around a client environment. The role is required to engage with clients’ various systems and infrastructure teams to implement requirements around Nview systems. Compilation and updating documentation related to the implementation of these systems will also be required.

Required Skills:
• Good understanding of AD group policy and how to modify and implement group policy settings.
• Basic firewalling concepts and networking concepts and how firewall rules are implemented at a high level.
• Windows Server administration skills.
• Good documentation skills with an eye for detail.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to work on projects which involve multiple team and stakeholders.
• An understanding of system logging concepts will be beneficial.
• An understanding of Sysmon, Windows Events and WEF will be beneficial.
• An understanding of M365, Azure and AWS will be beneficial.

Tasks and Responsibilities
 Deployment of Nview systems within client environments including:
• Installation and configuration of WEF servers
• Assistance with GPO configuration.
• Sysmon deployment and configuration.
• Maintain deployment documents to ease deployment processes
• Assist clients with the integration of various log sources to Nview, including firewalls, endpoint security, web applications, and various other technologies.
 Maintenance and support of Nview related systems at clients.
• Troubleshoot GPO and Audit settings. Assist clients with updating settings where required.
• Advise clients on deployment methodologies.
• Work with Detection Engineering team to tune audit and Sysmon configuration.
• Work with clients’ teams to integrate new log sources.
• Assist clients with changes related to Nview systems including honeypot movement.
• Work with various teams to troubleshoot VPN access issues.
• Work with various teams to troubleshoot log source issues
• Intermediary contact between client’s technical teams and Nview infrastructure and devops teams.
• Work with various teams including Client, Vendor and Nview technical teams to integrate new log sources.
• Document Nview deployments and product integration guides.
