JOB DESCRIPTION:

Our client, a dynamic Financial Services Organisation seeks to employ a Systems and Commissions Administration Officer
based in Midrand.

 

What the role is accountable for

The Systems Commisions Administration Officer is responsible for the all-round reporting of daily commission allocations to the individual Financial Planning Advisors and ensuring that the latest bank deposit information is updated into the BIAS system and all commission balances off correctly to ensure a smooth preparation for payroll submission. Conducting administrative tasks such as communicating, statement requests, follow ups and query management with brokers, service providers and managers.  This role will also provide support with reference to BIAS system related projects and processes

Role Reporting

Financial Planning Executive

A typical day may include :

  • Opening Latest Bank Deposit information on a daily basis
  • Follow up on any unclear Deposit descriptions
  • Updating Bank Deposits into BIAS
  • Chasing Commission Statements from Product suppliers
  • Allowing Company''''s EB Commission Statements
  • Follow up of outstanding Bank Deposits, Commission Statements and unallocated amounts
  • Sorting out queries from Product Providers, Financial Advisors, BU Managers and Administrators
  • Preparation of Payroll instructions for Commision earnings
  • Checking and obtaining sign off of Monthly Commission Payroll
  • Assisting with Product Provider Contract Documentation
  • Liaising with Commissions SystemProvider as required
  • Review integrity of Commission data on the system
  • Attending BIAS meetings with reference to sytem development for EB Team
QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED
  • Matric, Excell Skills, Bookkeeing or similar
Preferred Qualifications
- Business /Finance Qualification
 
EXPERIENCE
Functions and systems related experience 3 years
Leading teams - 2 years
Other experience 2 years in bookkeeping and reconciling role
