Systems Manager - Johannesburg

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Qualifications and Experience:

vGrade 12.

vQualifications: Diploma or Degree in IT administration, MCSE, etc.

vExperience: 4-5 years IT network admin experience or senior experience a bonus.

vExperience: 2-3 years in supporting customer built systems.

Duties / Knowledge:

ØRole:

ØSystem infrastructure support.

ØSQL database support.

ØReporting to customers and staff on issues and resolutions.

ØSystem support.

ØAssist Sales staff with technical support in meetings and solutions.

ØResponsibilities:

ØLook after company system infrastructure, servers, connectivity, integration support, etc.

ØHelp with trouble shooting database issues.

ØHelp with trouble shooting systems and providing feedback to development team.

ØHelp with testing of all systems and providing test results to developers.

ØEnsure the company has proper redundancy for supporting of company solutions.

ØEnsure the company follows all ISO policies and procedures.

ØCreate all polices and procedures for the company’s ISO when needed.

ØDocument all testing results in a manner that is agreed on by al parties.

ØKnowledge:

ØPastel Evolution.

ØWindows 2008, 2012 and 2016+ server.

ØSQL 2008,2012 and 2016+ Server.

ØActive Directory Experience.

ØVirtual Server Experience.

ØKnowledge on all forms of internet connectivity.

ØBasic Firewall Knowledge.

ØAndroid, Apple, Blackberry and windows mobile knowledge.

ØIn house system support knowledge.

ØDesigning of systems and maintaining them from an IT support side.

ØKnowledge of IT best practices for change control, implementations etc.

ØMust Have Own Car and Valid Driver’s Licence.

ØResponsible, Trustworthy and Honest.
