Our client in the Network Communications sector is looking for a Systems Integrator: Cloud Migration on a contract duration of 6 to 9 months.

Technical Competencies
- Strong expertise in Apache Kafka, Confluent Platform, and Confluent Cloud.
- Deep understanding of Apache Flink, including stateful stream processing, checkpointing, save points, event-time processing, and Flink SQL.
- Experience with Kafka migration tools such as Cluster Linking, Mirror Maker 2, and consumer offset migration.
- Knowledge of Schema Registry, Kafka Connect, ksqlDB, and data governance frameworks.
- Strong cloud platform experience in AWS or GCP.
- Experience designing secure network connectivity using VPN, Private Link, Direct Connect, or equivalent technologies.
- Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code using Terraform and CI/CD automation tools.
- Experience implementing monitoring and observability solutions using Grafana, Prometheus and Instana.
Knowledge- Event-Driven Architecture (EDA) principles and streaming data patterns.
- Cloud security, IAM, RBAC, encryption, and compliance requirements.
- High availability, disaster recovery, and performance optimization for streaming platforms.
Experience- Proven experience delivering enterprise-scale Kafka or Confluent Cloud migrations.
- Experience supporting and administering production Kafka environments.
- Experience migrating or modernizing streaming platforms from on-premises to cloud environments.
- Experience working in cross-functional teams involving architecture, cloud, security, DevOps, and data engineering disciplines.
- Demonstrated ability to manage complex migration projects, stakeholder engagement, and technical governance.
Preferred Certifications- Confluent Certified Developer or Administrator for Apache Kafka.
- AWS or GCP Professional Cloud Certifications.
- Terraform Associate Certification.
- Kubernetes and cloud-native platform certifications.
