A well-established, JSE listed conglomerate seeks an experienced and innovative Systems Finance Lead to join their shared services finance team based in Johannesburg North.

A well-established, JSE listed conglomerate seeks an experienced and innovative Systems Finance Lead to join their shared services finance team based in Johannesburg North.

In this role you will be the lead person on all finance process optimizations, transformations and streamlining within the student enrollment side of the business.

The successful candidate will someone who is hands-on in identifying, transforming and optimizing business systems and processes within the finance space. You will also have to evaluate the success of such changes and report back on the identification, planning, implementation and outcome of such.

In this role you will have various business leaders reporting to you like billing, collections and pre-legal collections, as well as the student management department.

Duties include, but not limited to invoicing, customer data maintenance, collections, reporting and implementation of necessary controls and processes.

The incumbent will have strong business process and continuity experience, a strong business acumen and someone constantly working to innovate and streamline processes and procedures for optimal departmental performance.

Education:

BCom Hons in Finance / Business

MBA

Skills & Experience:

5 to 6 years experience in a business or performance and planning analysis role within a shared services department is NON-NEGOTIABLE

Educational industry experience will be beneficial

Strong people management skills

Strong computer literacy

Strong personality

Ability to work in a highly pressured and fast paced environment

Team player

Someone who are prepared to work extended hours when need be
