Systems Engineer

Our client in the Engineering Industry is looking to hire a Systems Engineer.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Managing the day-to-day ICT environment including but not limited to:
  • Antivirus
  • Server, network, voice, and storage capacity management
  • Patching
  • Security
  • Risk, change and event management
• Provide 3rd level escalation for the Service Desk
• Perform the role of technical SME during any priority incident within your technical domain
• Manage to resolution all assigned incidents, requests, events, and changes

Requirements:

• Experienced broad skilled Systems Engineer, with a background working with a system integrator/managed services provider, including sound commercial and technical skills
• Strong skills in MS Wintel products (Microsoft 365, Windows Server)
• Experience conducting infrastructure migrations (e.g., Office 365 upgrades; Network implementation)
• Networking, switching, routing and firewalls (FortiGate)
• VMware Virtualisation
• Citrix SDWAN would be a bonus.
