Systems Engineer (Engineer)

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Our client in the Engineering Industry is looking to hire a Systems Engineer.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Managing the day-to-day ICT environment including but not limited to:
- Antivirus
- Server, network, voice, and storage capacity management
- Patching
- Security
- Risk, change and event management
Provide 3rd level escalation for the Service Desk
Perform the role of technical SME during any priority incident within your technical domain
Manage to resolution all assigned incidents, requests, events, and changes

Requirements:

Experienced broad skilled Systems Engineer, with a background working with a system integrator/managed services provider, including sound commercial and technical skills
Strong skills in MS Wintel products (Microsoft 365, Windows Server)
Experience conducting infrastructure migrations (e.g., Office 365 upgrades; Network implementation)
Networking, switching, routing and firewalls (FortiGate)
VMware Virtualisation
Citrix SDWAN would be a bonus.
